Research Interests

Dr. Dew is involved in the study of the photochemical isomerization of ligands on transition metal complexes. She is presently studying SO2 and NO2 ligands in ruthenium complexes. Student researchers utilize techniques of low temperature trapping of metastable species as well as in-depth infrared spectroscopic analysis. In addition, Dr. Dew and her students have studied increasing intensity of transmission and reflection holograms as a function of bleaching processes.
